Phillips de Pury Contemporary & Street Art Results

The highly anticipated Contemporary and Urban Art Auction at Phillips de Pury, London took place last weekend as I reported here. Perhaps the most interesting thing about an auction of this stature, which consisted of several high scale artsist is finding out the outcome. With the recent dip in market, the possibility of an opposite effect was at chance therefore many collectors were watching closely as the results. Two interesting factors of the results were two pieces from Banksy were in the unsold lot while a favourite of mine although one at times under valued, Faile receive almost double for the piece ‘Forbidden Love.’ Check out the results at The Art Collectors website.
