Colorized Obama-Lincoln Posters by Ron English

Ron English took to the streets of Boston and posted numerous oversized prints of his previously seen “Obama-Lincoln” fusion posters just in time for the July 4th opening of the “a politic” show from Gallery XIV in Boston. The new prints have seen a colorization process that brings new life to the already infamous posters that fused the US presidential candidate with one of America’s most recognizable presidents known for ending slavery in the United States.

  1. The strange fact is that Lincoln didn’t have any interest in ending slavery and didn’t believe in the equality of the races and said so in his speeches. The War Between the States did have the eventual effect of ending slavery but that was not Lincoln’s intention in starting the war.
