Curated by Aaron Bondaroff and Jen Brill, the colette gallery in Paris will play host to the Off Off Bowery exhibition. With a supreme compilation of artists and works, the duo present a show certain to garner much attention. Off Off Bowery is set to open September 29th until November 1st, 2008.
colette and Solve Sundsbo have collaborated to produced a skate deck, limited to 20 pieces and available at the Colette online store. This adds to the works the Norwegian artist has on showcase at the Parasian store now. Check them out decks below, which feature some impressive imagery and artwork.
As previewed recently, Parisian boutique colette teamed up with GAP to produce a concept store in New York City. Opening September 6th, 2008 the shop will run its course for an entire month, eventually closing up on October 5th. For every week, there will be new limited items exclusive to the concept store. colette has now launched the official website as well as featured the wide range of brands and collaborations that will be available at the store, including the likes of: Neckface, Eric Elms, ESPO, Converse and so forth.
colette in Paris is the next location to play host to the legendary creator in large Eric Elms who is so well known in and around the scene. The artist has worked with some of the biggest names in around since relocating to New York at the end of the 90’s including Nike, Panasonic, aNYthing, Wieden+Kennedy, Undefeated, Silly Thing, Huge Magazine and ofcourse Supreme where he really made a name for himself and he now runs his own design studio, WeAreAdorn in Brooklyn. His paintings are a reflection of his influences growing up and the aesthetics of his design background. He has had solo and group show in Tokyo, Australia, NYC and Europe. Make sure if you are in the area between May 5 and May 31 you check out this impressive collection of new works at colette.
May 5th will see the launch of Eric Elms latest installation, the man behind many of some of the most iconic streetwear graphics, with a portfolio made up of work for include aNYthing, Nike, Patta, Silly Thing, Stüssy, Supreme and UNDFTD show’s his ability outside of more conventional mediums. If your in Paris, you have to check this out at Colette, a genuine showing of one of the most inspiring members of this culture in recent times. The show will run through to May 31st.
